Improved Version of the Mossberg 500

The Mossberg 835 Ulti-mag is a pump action shotgun built for a 3.5-inch chamber 12-gauge ammunition. It's a heavier and bigger version of the Mossberg 500. The company redesigned and went back to the drawing board to create a more improved firearm on this one.

Mossberg was successful in making significant changes to reduce the felt recoil as well as refine this gun's accuracy. As a shotgun designed and built for the harder-hitting load, the 835 Ulti-mag surpassed a lot of shooter's expectations for a turkey hunting gun made specifically for this purpose.

The 835 Ulti-mag is set out to pattern at 40 yards and shoots accurately at this distance. The balance is superb, and you can really feel the reduced recoil from what a 12-gauge ammunition's usual kicks feel when firing. The next shot is also quicker due to what Mossberg did to the ports and has improved durability than most of its predecessors.

This shotgun features balance ballistic performance and have interchangeable choke tubes constructed for its barrel. Any experienced shooter firing a few rounds of the Mossberg 835 Ulti-mag will immediately notice how good it feels shooting 12-gauge ammo. You can also purchase this shotgun with pistol grips usually seen on tactical guns for better control.

Everything about this gun is great except having to remove the buttstock to fully disassemble the gun. Also, the ambidextrous safety slide on the top tang is too far to reach when you're in a strong-hand grip.

I was wondering if anyone else has had a problem with the vented rib. I own two of the and both of them the ventilated rib has come loose. I don’t know if moss berg will cover this or do I have to take care of it my self.
