Any good cleaning product will get the job done. Just as important are the proper cleaning tools and proper cleaning techniques.

Hoppe’s #9 is not only an effective cleaner, it is also a great attractant for shooters, nearly every shooter recognizes the scent of Hoppe’s #9. My personal choice is Break Free CLP but it doesn’t provide the nostalgia of Hoppe’s #9.

Tried them all and I’m a firm believer in the new synthetic cleaners and lubes. Personally I like Mil-Comm products, but if you ask 100 people what gun products they use you’re probably going to get 100 different answers.

I prefer the Milcomm system to clean firearms.
    Milcomm NRA recommended
    MC25 to clean
    TW25 Gun Grease to lube
MC3000 as exterior and coating for all metal
    Check it out.
    No toxic and no smell.
    Green products and NRA approved.
    Highest regards
    Vilkus
