NONE of the shotguns mentioned were “pistol gripped.” Unless the pictures were switched up. I own an original Mossberg 500 Mil-spec, 20″ barrel, parkerized finished metal, oiled, smooth stocks, full length magazine tube. I love it, will never let it leave my collection, but not my go-to defense shotgun. First choice? My recently purchased (couple of years ago when they were FINALLY available) Kel-Tec, KSG, bull-pup shotgun. Short, easy to handle in close quarters, 15 round capacity, actual pistol grip. I don’t understand why the KSG hasn’t replaced every other shotgun on the market in every squad car in the country. Maybe the price? Still, well worth it IMHO.
