Why Carry a Gun and Keep a Couple or More at Home

What is the Second Amendment? The Second Amendment simply states “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.”

The 2nd Amendment

Everyone has their own reasons and good reasons to carry a gun, too. No two are quite the same also.

Maybe you do it for self-defense, to protect those around you, or to defend your home. The most upheld though is to exercise your God-given second amendment right.

We have different reasons, but really, the ultimate argument for carrying a gun is the 2nd amendment! At the end of the day, what matters is what are you carrying a gun for.

And when you do, you're going to need this.

On that note, it is best to learn more about concealed carry and how the 2nd amendment can either justify your reason or give you a good reason to use your gun only for what it's intended for!

Cons of Concealed Carry

While the question as to why carry a gun at all is highly debated, we look to reasons why concealed carry is good. There are pros and cons, but for now, we see these as perfectly acceptable reasons for concealed carry.

Our friend Joshua Gillem here at Gun Carrier has listed his personal reasons for carrying a gun every day. Read an excerpt below, and be sure to check out the full article here.

1. As I said above, people are nuts. And it seems to be getting worse. Especially when you watch the news and see all these riots taking place. What’s funny, though, is when you see the guys with the AR-15 slung around their shoulder guarding their business, nobody is attacking them. Wonder why? Maybe it’s because guns act as deterrents.

2. I’m convinced that the zombie apocalypse is already upon us. I mean, I literally look around and see the brain dead all over the place, feeding off the innocent and trying to turn them into zombies, too. Many people believe that, at some point, it will escalate to an uncontrollable problem forcing us who aren’t yet zombies to defend ourselves against the horde. When/if that time comes, it is better to be ready for it.

I was highly trained and taught in the US Army that the man on your left and the man on your right were your responsibility. That covers it for me. I carry because most do not. I am responsible for me and mine. Observe…Assess…Adapt AND Overcome.

Josh Gillem observes the zombies are already here. True,I see them every day, shuffling across busy streets, gazing into the little machines that got them to zombie-land.One day, they will grow hungry,or need a new device.
Tongue-in-cheek,we call this the “Zombie Apocolypse”, but it isn’t a joke, and they have the instinct to survive, just like us.I’m old,and disabled, and I’ll be damned if the last thing I see on this planet is one of these leeches taking my wallet from my broken body. I carry. I train. I pray.
    Rock on,guys… Billy

With all the idiots running loose it’s not safe to go without protection of some kind. Especially if you are a lone female. Just be prepared
