Gun Rights Advocates Weighs in on It
Of course, with the “balanced and fair reporting” of the media, you know “gun violence” in America is on the rise.
We don't deny the well-covered gun shooting incidents happening all over the country recently, but who's behind it?
We came across this hilarious satire piece at Absolute Rights earlier today and couldn't resist the chance to share. It's all about how gun violence is on the rise — and who's really to blame. Check it out!
Our Nation Is Under Threat Now That We Know Guns Kill People
As the dust begins to settle on one of the most violent weekends ever seen in America, authorities are coming to terms with the fact we may be at the start of a mass murder spree never seen before on our shores.
Since Friday night, the murder rate across the country has been at an all-time high and, terrifyingly, the killers have all fit the same description; steel, with a barrel and trigger. We are now facing the frightening reality guns do indeed kill people.
The first of the killings happened at a home in upstate New York, when a 20-year-old male returned home from work to find his revolver holding his wife and children hostage. As he walked in the door, the gun shot him three times, killing him instantly.
His family fled and called the authorities. After a tense standoff, heavily armed police stormed the house to find the gun lying on the floor. It was immediately detained and taken in for questioning.

On a More Serious Note on Gun Violence
The truth of the matter, of course, is guns don't kill people — people do.
(Yes, it's been said many times, but it bears repeating. Apparently there are still those out there who don't get it.)
It's ridiculous to blame the tool for the crimes of the master. It would be like blaming cars for getting into accidents, or spoons for making you fat.
There will always be evil people in the world. There will always be murderers. And, unfortunately, there will always be well-meaning idiots who simply aren't careful or don't have the expertise needed to handle a firearm.
In all these cases, one thing is true: the gun is not to blame.
Anyone who says it is is either deluded, ignorant, or has an agenda.
This video from Colion Noir will show you the truth of gun violence by the numbers to get your gun violence facts straight:
It sure looks like we are not going to see the end of this gun violence issue with the toxic bipartisan politics in play in this country. Perhaps what we can do is to keep ourselves well-informed so we make judgments based on facts and not emotions.
