Two People Arrested In Disneyland Paris For Having Guns

France has been the center of a terror war for a little while now.First, the Charlie Hebdo attacks, then the extremely deadly Paris attacks. And, most recently, a man and woman couple were arrested on Disneyland property with a pair of handguns, a box of ammo and a Koran.

It is unclear of what they were planning to do, and I’m not going to be the one to jump to any conclusions. Ya know, because that could potentially make me a racist, and we can’t have that…

BUT!

They did have guns with ammo equivalent to a .32ACP and a Koran. Were they practicing Muslims? Were they ISIS members? I’m not sure. Personally, I don’t carry a Koran around with me because I don’t believe what it says. I do, however, own a little pocket Gideon Bible that goes around with me. It’s all marked up with notes and things to remember.

I’m a practicing Christian. And, I know a lot of other Christians who carry a Bible around with them on their phone. They are also practicing Christians.

What’s my point? Atheists generally don’t carry around religious books because they don’t believe what is found inside of them. So, why would someone carry a Koran around with them, if they didn’t believe what it said? Do you see where I’m going with this?

But, this website is about guns, not religious stuff. So, I digress.

What is interesting, however, is that France has some of the strictest gun control laws on this planet we call Earth, and guns keep showing up on the radar. Granted, these weren’t used in any crime, at least not that we know of.

Could they have been? Sure, I suppose they could have. However, .32ACP ammo isn’t exactly what you use to go on a killing spree. Not that I’m discounting the little 7.65mm round, just that they wouldn’t have gotten much done with two small pistols and a single box of ammo.

Nevertheless, if they did decide to do evil’s bidding, they would have hurt/killed some people. That is bad.

Since they were going to Disney, maybe they were going for the discreet toy-look. Not sure. Either way, the people of France remain on alert until until further notice. Just when their lives begin to settle down, something else happens.

It’s the same way here, in America. Remain vigilant, folks. You never know when your life can be caught up in the middle of something big with a crackhead trying to take your money for his next fix or ISIS taking over a Christmas party with a Kalashnikov.
