As you undoubtedly know, SHOT Show is here. Though, I do have to admit that actually getting here was a struggle. After being stuffed between two men on an airplane for longer than should be allowed, I finally arrived in Las Vegas during the wee hours of Monday morning. And, to my utter disbelief (and anger) my luggage was shipped to California.

Thank you United Airlines…

…because who needs a fresh pair of underwear before they spend the entire day at the gun range?

Anyway, I got to bed at about 3am that morning, and woke up just a few short hours later to bring you the absolute best and fastest videos I could—unedited. That means every time I did something stupid, you'll see. I wanted it to feel like you were there with me at the range, instead of sitting on the crapper at work trying to watch the latest SHOT Show 2016 videos (which, unfortunately for you, is likely where you were).

I do have some favorites from Industry Day. To be honest, some of my favorites really surprised me. Namely because I'm not a revolver guy…

But, the new Kimber K6s compact revolver is sexy, and it shoots fantastic. The trigger is a smooth 9-10 pound DAO trigger, and the barrel length is just 2 inches long making it perfect for concealment. To help aid the concealed carrier feel confident in his/her choice of firearm, the internal hammer allows for a snag-free draw to make sure you can take the bad guy out quickly.

Over all, I'd say that this was my favorite gun from Industry Day at the range. Which is weird because, as I said earlier, I'm not a revolver guy. One of the best aspects of this little revolver, however, is the fact that it's chambered in .38/.357 AND has a cylinder capacity of 6 rounds.

Other bloggers will tell you that they didn't feel that much recoil. But, we were shooting .357 magnum rounds, so…really? For a revolver with such a short barrel, I thought it was snappy but definitely manageable.

I can't wait to get my hands on one for a more in depth discussion about it. But as of right now, I'm seriously considering the idea of putting my other purchase (SCCY CPX) on hold for one of these bad boys.
