Instead Of Focusing On NFA Items, Reroute BATFE To Help With Terrorists
Unless you've been living under a rock, you've undoubtedly heard about the gun store owner who had his Glock Machine Pistol confiscated, even after he was approved by the ATF to have it. There may have been some shady dealings there on his part as well, but as far as I can tell, no laws were broken.
If you want to read what I'm talking about, do so here.
What really grinds my gears is that there are thousands of ISIS fighters across the United States, and nobody bats an eye. But when one gun store owner buys a machine pistol, legally from what I can tell, everybody loses their minds.
Here's a novel idea, since the FBI obviously hasn't the manpower to follow all 1,000+ ISIS members, take some BATFE agents from their inorganically huge organization and stick them on some suspected terrorists.
That's what is known as a win win. People can keep their jobs, and terrorists will lose the fight.
In all seriousness, when was the last time you heard of a gun store owner going on a killing spree with a machine pistol? Never? Me neither. Here's another question, when was the last time you heard of an ISIS member, or ISIS itself, taking credit for an attack?
Oh right, as of this writing, just this week. Oh, and a few weeks before that. And then, a few more weeks before that.
Seems to me that the real problem isn't a gun store owner with a pistol, but an underwhelming amount of support to do anything about terrorists in this country.
Of course, Donald Trump is taking over and he just appointed General Mad Dog Mattis as Secretary of Defense. Listen to me very carefully, there hasn't been a more respected, more feared General in many years.
When people voice their concern over his comments about killing people, asking if that's the kind of guy we want as SecDef, I laugh. Isn't that the point? Aren't these savages chopping the heads off innocent bodies? Aren't they burning people alive to punish them? Don't they slit throats and hurt little children?
We need people who are willing to do whatever they must to protect the United States, and the world at large. We need people who are willing to take the fight to the enemy. General Mattis has the right qualities and is the best man for the job.
Personally speaking, I'd follow that man into the depths of hell, and so would every other service member and veteran on the face of this planet if he all but asked us to. That's the kind of leader we need.
Do you agree with me here? Do you think the BATFE should be rerouted to a useful position? I know I don't need to ask about Mattis because if you're here reading this, your body was tingling just like mine was when Trump announced this cabinet position last night. But for Gits and Shiggles, fill my comment section with adoration for our new SecDef.

AS a constitutional Republic, our public servants can only act upon those things privileged to them under the Constitution.

What is not specifically allowed, is absolutely denied.

All federal, state and local gun laws interfering with the possession of RKBA by lawful citizens, are patently unconstitutional as there is no permission from the People to do so.
