Some Harsh Words For Matt Damon

An Open Letter To The Anti-American, Hypocritical Matt Damon

Dear Mr. Damon,

It has come to our attention, yet again, of your hypocritical stance on guns. On one hand, you make a movie with extreme bad-assery and gun handling where you make it your mission to kill all of your enemies. On the other hand, you give out your opinions on gun control like they're Snickers Bars on Halloween. Little do you know that your opinions are crap, and nobody really cares.

But, the wonderful thing about this country, is that the First Amendment still applies, and I'm unable to shut you up for that simple reason, alone. Funny how it works, really. You make use of your First Amendment rights, while trying to take away my Second Amendment rights, as you praise how Australia came “in one fell swoop” and took away all the guns.

Being that Independence Day just passed, and I'm feeling all patriotic inside, let me offer you up a short lesson in history, 101.

Mr. Damon, as you sit back and enjoy your freedom of speech, talking despicable things about our freedoms and guns, let me offer you up this little nugget: That very same freedom of speech that lets you sputter inaccuracies across the world, was won by making use of the “assault rifles” of the time. Had the early treasonous colonists not rebelled against Great Britain like they did, things could be very different right now.

Then again, maybe you'd like that because you obviously don't love freedom. At least, not for me and all of the other simple commoners living in America. I'd make a wager that you have armed security guards, though. After all, after the first 10 Bourne movies (or however many repetitions were made…snore…) you've probably made a good amount of money and can afford such armed security.

But I cannot afford it, and neither can the rest of us lowly, regular Americans. This is one of the reasons why we need guns—to defend ourselves against criminals because nobody else will. And of course, another reason is to keep tyrannical governments at bay. Ya know, kinda like the treasonous colonists did all those years ago back in 1776. Which, by the way, is one of the reasons why the Second Amendment was written.

I guess that brings me to my next, and final point…

There are 70-80 million gun owners in this fine nation. If we were a problem, you'd know about it. I can guarantee you, however, that a lot of us are not open to a gun confiscation. I believe that the government at large understands that, and doesn't want a war on their hands. At least a portion of the gun owners are fed-up enough that they're willing to do something about it. How many people?

A lot of folks talk about the 3% rule, and there is one that applies to this as well. Some have said that about III% of gun owners across the nation will revolt if guns are ever confiscated. I'm super bad at math, but III% of 70 million is what? 2.1 million? Of course that number will grow, just like it did in 1776 after the rest of the colonists realized that being a free people is better than being slaves.

I don't know much, but I can guarantee that if there is ever another revolution, it will be over guns, and the people involved will be more concerned with preserving freedom, than the lives of the people on the other side of the line. That line, by the way, has already been drawn. It's just a matter of time, at this point, before the first shot is fired.

Signed,

A Concerned Citizen

Sound Off Gun Carriers! Does Concerned Citizen's points ring true with you? Do you think that the III% will rise up if guns are confiscated? Or, is their bark louder than their bite? Let us know in the comments below. Then, make sure you check out Gun Carrier's YouTube channel and hit the subscribe button. By the way, I chose the cover photo for this letter, because our Concerned Citizen didn't provide one. I thought the one I chose spoke volumes about Mr. Damon's values, standing at the Clinton Global Initiative pulpit.

What is wrong with you Mr Damon?
All the gun control in the world will not stop the gun violence. Why? Criminals,
and Terrorists DO NOT OBEY ANY LAWS, why do you think we call them criminals and
    terrorists?
If you want to see what will happen, look to England. First the hand guns,
then the long guns, now the swords and knives. And their crime rate has gone
up and up. Look to Europe, some of the toughest gun laws in the world. They are
snowed under with terrorists raping, shooting and bombing their people. In my
opinion these people are subjects. The same thing is happening in Australia, they took away
the guns and their crime rate has gone up, gee I wonder what has caused this?
While you hide behind your armed guards. I have nothing but the local sheriff. My neighbors
house was broken into, he called the sheriff, only took four days before he showed up.
What am I supposed to do? Roll over and give up?
No: I will exercise my 2nd Amendment rights.
My question is are you a citizen or a subject?
As a subject you are at the whims of a Government, the law, the rich and connected,
the privileged elite. who have their paid bodyguards to protect them from the criminal
& terrorist elements. As a subject, the police are not required to protect you, they
will protect who ever has the power. If you are poor or not connected, you are on your own.
Mr Damon if you don’t like guns? Don’t buy one. Don’t like your rights taken away?
Then don’t take away someone else’s.
We fought a war in 1776 to be free of the whims of a King, we did not want to be
subjects, we wanted to be citizens.
Mr Damon, I volunteered and served in the military (11/22/63-11/04/67), three tours in Viet Nam.
According to your bio on Wikipedia, you were never in the military, and are enjoying a very fine life paid for by the people who gave their blood and lives for your freedom to do so. So why don’t you shut up and keep making your make believe movies, because you don’t know what the hell you’re talking about..

Tongue is a powerful tool for evil or good, Sir. For the lost it is used in humanly fashion. For the born again it is used for the welfare of mankind. Peace starts with yourself and grows. “A little prayer”, So far today, God, I’ve done alright. I haven’t gossiped, haven’t lost my temper, haven’t been greedy, grumpy, nasty, selfish or overindulgent. I’m very thankful for that. BUT in a few minutes, God, ‘m going to get out of bed, from then on, I’m probably going to need a lot more help AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
