Gun Control Legislation

The Gun Control Act of 1968 requires individuals with business in the gun manufacture and sale to be licensed by the federal government.

While there is no prohibition in the GCA of 1968 for individuals building homemade guns, gun regulation laws vary from state to state.

The GCA has nothing on prohibiting homemade guns as long as it's for personal use. Also, if there are no restrictions to the individuals, say convicted felons.

Let's say you are building this homemade shotgun for a low-cost recreation, still, check with your local gun laws and regulations.

Most importantly, as we have repeatedly pointed out, stay on the safe side and use this information only for knowledge's sake.
