Rifles are good for two reasons: perimeter and versatile protection. I am going to divide them into two categories: the assault rifles and the long range rifles. The AK 47 is one of the most popular assault rifles in the world, together with the AR-15. This rifle is used by military units all over the world and is known for its durability. One can basically expose the rifle in extreme conditions and it would still fire. Talk about being reliable.
Ruger 10/22 Rifle

The Ruger 10/22 is the king of .22 rifles, at least on my list that is. The reason why it’s just so good to have around is that it’s good for securing small and medium-sized game, and it’s got quite the range in it too. It’s also really quiet, so prey will never know what it hit them.

The Bushmaster Carbon 15 M4 Carbine is small, light, and very durable. The M4 Carbine is made in the tradition of AR-15 rifles combined with modern features like the space-age Carbon 15 composite molded receivers.

If you want to talk about survival rifles, the Henry Arms AR-7 is the real deal. It may not be as powerful as the other rifles nor is it as capacious as the Ruger or M4. But the AR-7 takes the cake with its convenience. You can pack the barrel, magazines, and receivers inside its water-tight stock and carry it around with you. Assembling the rifle is like assembling LEGOs.
There are a whole lot of guns out there and it could get overwhelming which ones you should get for your own personal doomsday armory. But the types of guns presented here were picked for a bunch of necessary reasons. First, as any firearm they will help protect yourself and your family from threats. Lastly, they re-enforce the idea of security as they keep away the danger and help eliminate them when the time comes for it.
