Made in the U.S.A. and designed by O.F. Mossberg & Sons, the Mossberg 935 is a decent gas-operated shotgun. This semi-automatic shotgun runs well with 3” and 3.5” shells, but it also shoots 2-3/4” heavy hunting loads. The 935 has various models including Combo Turkey/Deer, Combo Turkey/Waterfowl, Turkey, Waterfowl, and Pro-Series Waterfowl.
The Mossberg 935 shoots excellently and has quite a very good pattern. This beauty comes with IC, M, and F factory choke tubes – all of which are flush mount. I find out that using modified chokes work well for some duck shooting.
This shotgun handles wonderfully and feels perfect on your shoulder. I’ve also noticed the increased confidence I gained for the longer shots on bird hunting.
Overall, shooting the Mossberg 935 in the field was truly a joy. With its very affordable price of $750 to $850, I would recommend this to anybody who wants an amazing auto-loader without shelling out lots of money. I’m pretty excited to take this beauty out in the field again!
