A Few Points About the State of America After the San Bernardino Shooting

Published

on

Our hearts and prayers go out to the American's who lost lives, loved ones and had their lives forever changed in the events that took place in San Bernardino, California on December 2, 2015. Of course, for that statement made above, we will be criticized by those on the left who seek to demonize firearms and those who pray, instead of the nutjob killers wielding the guns.

Let's take a second to break something about the San Bernardino shooting down, shall we? This is what we know so far: California is one of the hardest states to get a gun. The guns you can get, need to be modified so that they aren't as dangerous in the hands of someone wishing to kill innocents. This husband and wife team were armed with semi-automatic rifles and had handguns. Here's the kicker, though—gun enthusiasts in Cali can't buy the same AR-15s that the rest of the free world can.

They need modified rifles. The magazines cannot hold more than 10 rounds, and, in fact a tool is needed to eject the magazine from the well. It is unclear at this point, whether or not the AR-15s were California compliant, but we are told that the firearms were purchased legally. At least, that is what one of the left-leaning news stations said earlier this morning.

So, what's the point? Well, gun-control doesn't work. We've seen it time and again. Even in Kalifornia, with some of the strictest gun laws in the USA, these two criminals were able to kill so many people. Any attempt at gun control can never keep criminals and people wishing to do us harm, from getting guns. Period.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again. If the people in San Bernardino were well-armed, this situation could have unfolded differently. If We, the People were actually allowed to defend ourselves, as is our God-given right to do, those two would have been stopped long before they made it to 14 dead and 17 wounded.

Finally, I want to take a moment to go in an entirely different direction for my last point. The neighbor of the crime-duo went on to say that she saw many packages being delivered to their house, and that they were up late working in the garage at night. She said she was suspicious, but didn't want to be accused of racial profiling.

THAT is what America has come to these days. People are afraid of racial profiling, because we are told that it is wrong. Can you imaging the outcome had she not been afraid of being called a racist? These two bomb-makers would have been caught long before they ever had the chance to kill anyone.

Sadly, this is what our country has come to. We are no longer free to believe what we want. We are criticized for believing in, and praying to God. We are then told that God cannot fix this. We are told what we can, and cannot own in terms of firearms for self-defense against criminals. And, we are told that if we suspect anyone about to commit criminal activity, it's only okay to say something if their skin is a certain color. What a sad and troubling time we live in.
